The first in-person AESCOV patient meeting at CREER was a complete success!

During these days of coexistence, our members had the opportunity to learn, connect, and share experiences in a warm and supportive environment. The event included workshops with CREER professionals, specialized talks, and leisure moments to enjoy the city of Burgos. Each activity gave us valuable lessons, not only in the medical field but also on a personal level, strengthening the bonds between participants.
This event became a unique space to recognize ourselves among peers, feel accompanied, and share experiences that, in many cases, only those of us who live with a rare disease can fully understand. Without a doubt, these moments of connection have given us new strength to continue fighting together.
We want to wholeheartedly thank all the people who made this meeting possible. To the CREER professionals, for their dedication and unconditional attention, from the psychologist to the photographer, including the cooks who, with each meal, gave us a gesture of affection. Thank you for the love and care you gave us.
We also want to thank the speakers who accepted the challenge of accompanying us and bet on patient empowerment as a key tool to improve our quality of life.
And, of course, to our members: thank you for your trust, for the effort of traveling to Burgos, and for the energy, attitude, and involvement you brought to each activity. Each of you is a constant source of inspiration.
